Old Québec city of snow

From autumn's first snowfall to the spring thaw, Québec City is a garden of frost. And within this pristine garden, iridescent in the sunlight, the snow reflects tones of blue, yellow and gray. Men and women bend forward against the wind and the biting cold. The capital's centuries-old stones, hardened by nature, resist the icy gales. Claudel Huot captures the sense of magic and poetry that grips Québec and her inhabitants throughout the long winter months.
